Everyday Wear

An unconscious patient awakens to find paramedics trying to assist. Startled, she reaches under her pillow and pulls out a handgun, escalating a seemingly “everyday” call into something very different. An elderly patient suffering from chest pain is assessed at his home by an EMS crew, when his wife emerges from the next room with a loaded weapon, her dementia leaving her unable to understand the crew is there to help and not hurt. A pair of paramedics answers a dispatch, and arrive on the scene unaware they will face extreme danger when a domestic dispute becomes violent next door.

All potential real-world situations. And all potentially deadly without protection from soft armor ballistics.
